Vacancy - New & Used Vehicle Sales Administrator

Due to an internal promotion, a sales administrator is required for our very busy Wellingborough sales office. Reporting to the Sales Director, the post holder will be responsible for control of new and used vehicle sales process from receipt of order to delivery. The successful applicant will be confident, assertive, articulate and able to work under pressure and using own initiative.

Particular areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Control sales process from receipt of order to delivery

  • Support for Sales Director and area sales managers covering dealer postcodes

  • Support for Used Vehicle General Sales Manager

  • Placing orders for new chassis, creation and maintenance of vehicle data records

  • Raising orders for bodywork and equipment from third party suppliers

  • Raising internal jobs for both PDI and preparation of new and used vehicles

  • Liaison with both internal departments, Scania sales office and third party suppliers

  • Control of internal and third party costs, invoicing and payment

  • Arrange final inspections, valet and delivery

 

Particular experience / skills that would be regarded as ideal are:

  • Competency of Excel and Word

  • Knowledge of Kerridge automotive software system

  • Experience within a similar role

  • Excellent communication skills

  • An ability to work as part of a team as well as working on own initiative

  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach to work

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to strict deadlines

  • An ability to prioritise own workload

  • Commitment to provide excellent customer service and support

  • Flexible approach and working hours
