TruckEast – Finalists at Motor Transport Awards 2009

Motor Transport’s review of the entry stated:

"Having led a management buy-in of TruckEast in March 2007, former Keltruck MD John Biggin and his team have set about taking this Scania dealer for the Eastern Counties to the next level in all criteria: Customer Satisfaction (up two percentage points in 2008 compared to 2007), Turnover and Profit (TruckEast was the most-improved Scania Dealer for both sale and aftersales), helped in part by a £1m investment in facilities, services and training, and a sophisticated marketing approach."

Sadly, at the awards dinner on 1st July, TruckEast were unsuccessful in winning the category overall. John Biggin commented: “We are obviously disappointed not to have won overall, but this does not take away from the successes of the last 18 months. All of our staff have responded well to the new management team, and have made a tremendous effort to help take the company forward.”
