TruckEast acquires local recovery business R & A Recovery

R & A owners Roy and Ann Kightley have sold the business to TruckEast for an undisclosed sum.

After building the business for over 10 years Roy said "Its time I slowed down a bit and put my feet up!"

TruckEast Managing Director, John Biggin said "We are delighted to take over this successful business which will be a great fit with TruckEast, allowing us to expand our services. R & A will continue to offer the same levels of commitment to its customer base at the same rates. Steve Kightley (Roy's son) will joinTruckEast and Roy will work for us on a part time basis, so it will be business as usual." Roy’s other son, Paul, has already been working for TruckEast since February 1999.

General Manager Graham Broughton will manage the business from the Wellingborough Dealer Point.
