TruckEast Scania Experience - R Series Ride and Drive

TruckEast recently staged two Scania Experience ride & drive events to promote the new R series range and particularly two pedal Opticruise.

The first on Friday 12th March was held at The Elizabeth Hotel, Copdock, Ipswich and on Saturday 13th the show-trailer moved to our Wellingborough depot. Customers were able to put R440, R480 and R620 models, all with fully loaded trailers and featuring two pedal Opticruise, through their paces over a set route with both single and dual carriageways and some reasonable inclines.

Both events were well attended and the trucks kept busy throughout each day. We received some very positive feedback from customers on the day and hope that the interest shown will eventually lead to new business.
