TruckEast supports Sense Deafblind Awareness Week 21 - 27 June
Sense is a national deafblind charity, focussing on the individual needs of children and adults who are deafblind. This week is Deafblind Awareness Week, supported by business and celebrities.
Deafblindness is a visual and hearing impairment. These impairments can be of any type or degree. Most people who are deafblind have some useful vision and/or hearing.
Sense works in partnership with others – deafblind people, their families, carers and professionals – to ensure that everyone challenged by deafblindness or sensory impairment with other disabilities, has access to advice, opportunities and support.
Visit www.sense.org.uk to see how you can get involved.
