EFM Traction takes its first two brand new Scania Trucks
The company, which started trading in March 2005, was founded by Managing Director Phil Minney and has rapidly grown to a fleet of 6 trucks, including the 2 new vehicles from TruckEast Ltd.
Operating from Ross Road at Brackmills in Northampton, the company has a broad range of customers from the food industry to specialist plant companies. Phil now has 5 Scania’s in the fleet all of which were supplied by TruckEast Ltd the large Scania dealer group covering the Eastern counties. “I chose to buy Scania’s following my experience of good fuel consumption and excellent reliability. The EGR technology also saves a lot of hassle” comments Phil. EFM is very much a family business that prides itself on a personal and reliable service to its customers.

Air Ambulance gets lift from truckers
On Saturday 1st March, Northants Transport Engineering Group (NTEG) held their annual dinner dance and fund raising event at Northampton Park Inn, with over 330 guests from the road transport industry in attendance. During the evening, a cheque for £6,000 was presented on behalf of NTEG to Tracy Grunwell, fundraiser for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).

Wyvern Cargo Goes With Scania
TruckEast Limited, the large Scania dealer group covering the Eastern counties, has just delivered 10 new Scania Toplines to Wyvern Cargo Ltd, which operates a fleet of 75 vehicles from its distribution depots at Rushden, Northamptonshire and Poole, Dorset.
