EFM Traction choose Scania again
The rapidly expanding local logistics company EFM Traction, operating from Brackmills in Northampton, takes delivery of a Scania drawbar truck from Scania main dealers, TruckEast Ltd.
The truck, which will be operated on a dedicated contract with Terex UK who manufacture construction equipment in Coventry, has been supplied and modified at the Stowmarket branch of TruckEast Ltd. Phil Minney, the Managing Director of EFM Traction commented, "Despite the credit crunch we are still on track with our expansion plans for the business." EFM Traction is a family run business, priding itself on a personal and reliable service to their customers, ranging from the food industry through to specialist plant companies.

Air Ambulance gets lift from truckers
On Saturday 1st March, Northants Transport Engineering Group (NTEG) held their annual dinner dance and fund raising event at Northampton Park Inn, with over 330 guests from the road transport industry in attendance. During the evening, a cheque for £6,000 was presented on behalf of NTEG to Tracy Grunwell, fundraiser for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA).

Wyvern Cargo Goes With Scania
TruckEast Limited, the large Scania dealer group covering the Eastern counties, has just delivered 10 new Scania Toplines to Wyvern Cargo Ltd, which operates a fleet of 75 vehicles from its distribution depots at Rushden, Northamptonshire and Poole, Dorset.
