10 Scania trucks were available throughout the day for all attendees to drive, including a hugely popular fire engine provided by Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service and a Scania Irizar Coach provided by Scania Bus and Coach.

A wide range of family activities were also available including laser clay shooting, 4 x 4 off road driving, archery, a motorcycle display team, owl rescue display, football coaching skills and children’s races, face painting and balloon modelling and a nearest the pin golf green provided by Scania (Great Britain) Limited.

The event turned out to be a real experience for all concerned. Representatives from MacMillan Cancer Support attended the event and provided a MacMillan and Tombola stand. All proceeds on the day were donated to MacMillan Cancer Support with a total of £870 raised. "We are truly delighted to be asked to join you yesterday and thoroughly had a super time. We met such lovely warm and generous people, we would love to come along again. The money raised will pay for a nurse for 6 days and this would equate to 12 clinic sessions and also 1-1 support," said Lisa Donald, Fundraising Manager for Northamptonshire.
