Cab Jig:
At TruckEast we have provision to realign and jig most commercial vehicle cabs using our JOSAM cab bench, probably the most efficient of its kind for straightening and repairing damaged truck cabs. The JOSAM cab bench is a strong and stable aligning jig which simplifies cab repair. Moveable mounting points makes it easier to mount even severely damaged cabs. The base of the cab is anchored to beams in the workshop floor and is pushed and pulled hydraulically into its correct position.
Chassis Realignment:
Chassis straightening on Commercial vehicles and trailers is one of our specialities having gained over 30 years experience. We have 23 metres of straightening frame cast in the floor enabling us to straighten several chassis and cabs simultaneously. The JOSAM system is strong enough to allow us to tackle the toughest repairs to the heaviest of equipment e.g. farm machinery and hook loading equipment avoiding expensive replacement.
Laser Wheel Alignment:
The JOSAM laser system allows precise wheel, axle and frame alignment. This reliable equipment can measure the wheel angles of light commercial vehicles, trucks, coaches, trailers and mobile cranes. This method for measuring axle positions shows accurately the rolling direction of the wheels in relationship to the longitudinal centre line of the truck. This is done by means of a laser beam being projected from the wheel onto the frame gauges or scales at both ends of the truck. From this measurement we can easily determine whether or not the wheel angles are distorted and if necessary remedial action can be taken to cure the problem.
Handling of All Third Party Costs:
We are insurance approved body and paint shops and work with insurance companies and accident management repair groups. We are also insurance approved by Norwich Union and Zurich.
